Snapped Ankles were given the red orange carpet treatment at this year’s AIM Awards on Tuesday at Camden’s iconic Roundhouse. Their Hard Times Furious Dancing album was up in the Best Creative Campaign category.
The woodwose have always had so many brilliant ideas sparking in all directions, it can sometimes be difficult to know where to start. When it comes together like it did on this campaign, it’s a beautiful thing. Although they missed out on the prize to another forest dweller, it’s great to see them getting this sort of recognition.
On Wednesday, Snapps were at the equally iconic Maida Vale studios to record a BBC 6 Music session for longtime supporter Marc Riley. You can listen back to that now.
