‘Chromophobia’ is the second single from new album The Intermittent Signal which lands on September 25th. It finds the Sick Man flirting with the type of shadowy pop song structures that peaked at some point in the middle of the 80s, and doesn’t outstay its 3m 40s Top Of The Pops slot welcome.

“Chromophobia is the fear of colour,” TSMOE explains. “The fear of seeing things as they really are. It can be hard to breathe in this world of relentless falsehoods, but we have to remember we have the collective ability to redefine certain narratives, purely by the language we use. The truth is rarely black and white.”
