We had the privilege of seeing the first UK screening of a new documentary film, In A Dream, at the Sheffield Documentary Festival last week. The film was made by Jeremiah Zagar, and is highly personal portrait of his father, the artist Isaiah Zagar. We met Jeremiah and his friend and producer Jeremy Yaches after the screening, and they didn't leave the bar until they were kicking out...
It's a great and very emotional film, and I can highly recommend it if you get the chance to see it. It seems to be up for loads of awards, so it should be around quite a bit next year.
The film features two Leaf tracks, by Colleen and Efterklang, on a soundtrack that was mainly recorded The Books.
Jeremiah and Jeremy also put together a video for Efterklang's 'Cutting Ice To Snow' using footage that was cut from the final film:
