Efterklang Win First IMPALA European Independent Album of the Year Award

Last week the Leaf office took a school trip down to Sheffield to see our old lovely Danish friends Efterklang on their UK tour. The band are currently promoting their new film 'An Island' and their first album on 4AD, Magic Chairs. This record, their third studio album, has just scooped the IMPALA's Independent Album Of The Year Award beating off the likes of Field Music, The National and Underworld. We would like to congratulate the band, a richly deserved prize for one of the hardest working, nicest bunch of people you are likely to meet.
